Project Title Augmented Realities: Spatial Prototyping Through Augmented Gestures - Perception and Presence

Project Description

This year, I began a series of experiments using augmented reality as a tool to explore my inner self—mapping the relationship between digital technology, the body, and personal expression. Through spatial prototypes and immersive layers, I questioned how technology mediates our presence: What does it mean to be augmented? Does digital presence bring us closer to ourselves, or further away? These explorations became a way to confront both the possibilities and the absences that technology creates—and to imagine my own version of a utopia shaped by embodiment, emotion, and space.

Etched: Revealing the Invisible

Concept

The Hidden and Invisible Part — The term etched represents emotional scars or trauma that leave no visible mark but remain deeply felt. This project explores that idea by using AR to reveal the unseen. When participants present their face, the AR experience overlays and reveals the “invisible” emotional struggles—making the hidden visible.
